I want to know how to rename categories, sometimes i mighy make a category and then want to rename it and don't want to go on all the pages and delete the category and put a new one in. Can someone help?? New Captain (talk • contribs • count) 06:44, May 6, 2012 (UTC)

- Categories cannot be renamed, but there is a way to bypass the manual changing of all pages. Using AutoWikiBrowser, one can make a list of all pages in the category to be removed and then have the software change it to the new one in a semi–automated manner. If you point me to your wiki and specify the category to be blanked and its successor, I can do it for you. Cheers! TK999 09:30, May 6, 2012 (UTC)
