For the past couple of months, I have not been able to load Wikia pages from my personal computer. Any other computer can connect to Wikia using the same connection, so I know it has something to do with this specific computer and not my LAN or WAN connections. So far, I have tried:

• Flushing the DNS with ipconfig /flushdns.
• Checking the hosts file.
• Pinging the wiki I am trying to connect to (the ping always succeeds, no packet loss).
• Trying to load the wiki across multiple browsers and clearing the cache, site data, etc. from each browser, to no effect.
• Disabling my firewall.

I am at the end of my rope and can think of nothing more to fix this problem. All help appreciated. –PatPeter 09:56, November 5, 2012 (UTC)
