Here is the image i want to use as a header for my wikia http://www.arrayz.com/Images/header_image.jpg. Is there anyway to make it approzimately 1200 X 150 or even larger using a program or website without loosing the quality?--Andrew Schlieffen Executive Administrator of Modern Wikia and Valkyrie Movie Wikia 20:18, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

Not without adding new content to the image. By the way, you shouldn't be using that image unless you get permission from the website it comes from. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 1:20 PM PST 16 Jun 2010
You could try to convert it into a .svg, or find a .jpg to .svg converter. .svg files can have their sizes changed without losing any quality if done correctly. --Imanie 23:02, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
Converting to SVG really only works with line art unless the image has clearly defined gradients. The example given is definitely not line art unless you lose the wrinkly metallic background texture. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 5:32 PM PST 16 Jun 2010
You could try searching for a larger version using TinyEye. If you paste in the url location of the image into that search engine it can find almost exact matches. Sometimes the images it returns are larger. Gardimuer 08:41, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
Lol: "Sorry! TinEye is down for maintenance for a while!" — TulipVorlax 08:51, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah... but it will be back later ;) It is too good of a site to die. Gardimuer 00:16, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
It's back, but I doubt it will be a good solution. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 2:43 PM PST 22 Jun 2010
Not good enough, it needs to be exactly 1250 X 150, any other ideas?--Andrew Schlieffen Executive Administrator of Modern Wikia and Valkyrie Movie Wikia 02:12, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
I would suggest looking for large wallpaper (background screen) images in the 1600x1200 range and then cropping a part of it down to 1250x150 with a free image viewer like Irfanview on Windows or I think you can just use Preview on Mac OS X. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 7:18 PM PST 24 Jun 2010
