Monobook bug-1 with following
Monobook bug-2 with login

Hi. Looks like recent software updates (following, altering the signup screen) have broken several things on wikis that use Monobook as a default skin (e.g. all Uncyclopedia sections). See the screenshots: 1) menu on userpages with 'Pages I'm Following' section is much lower than it should be, 2) tabs for 'Register'/'Login' don't look as tabs or even links, so I'm already receiving reports from users who don't know how to log in (as register is the default).

I'd also note that there's currently a lot of untranslated messages in non-English wikis, so local admins have to translate them (doing the same work hundreds of times). Perhaps we should collect translations from the volunteers before the feature is actually enabled?

Hi Edward_Chernenko, if you are interested in translating features for all Wikians the best place to go to is here. Sign up for an account and you can easily copy your messages which are already translated in your wiki(s). I hope this settles at least the translation problem, for the other problem you should contact Wikia Staff by using Special:Contact. Regards, Marc-Philipp (Talk) 19:38, May 7, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the link to translatewiki. Unfortunately I can't participate in this project. At first, isn't run by neither Wikia nor Wikimedia, as I see, so I found it impossible to register there for privacy reasons. At second, as I know and do not trust other russian translators there (I've met them in ru.wikipedia), I have no doubts that I'll be simply indefblocked if I try to participate, and that my personal info (IP, user agent) will be published. That happened already in ruwiki, and I've sworn not to work in projects where they're sysops. ~ Edward Chernenko <edwardspec@gmail.com>MediaWikiDumper 10:29, May 8, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks to Sannse, first problem has been fixed (and second one also will be fixed in time; currently I've done this modification to Common.css, so it's not a problem anymore). ~ Edward Chernenko <edwardspec@gmail.com>MediaWikiDumper 10:26, May 8, 2010 (UTC)

Translatewiki.net is a partner site where you can translate messages used in Wikia. If you may think I'm kidding on you, I am not, I am a helper involved in international procedures. If you still don't believe me, believe this wiki made by Angela; see w:c:translators. Marc-Philipp (Talk) 16:55, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
