Is this still true?:

From staff member Sarah Manley: "We will also continue, for now, to support [Monobook] as a personal (viewing) choice for those readers that have a strong preference. However, many of the new features we will be creating for the new design will not work in Monobook." [1][2]

If so how can I revert to seeing the wikia I work on in monobook? This new skin is terrible.

Go to Special:Preferences and scroll down some. The skin choice should be there. If not there may be a tab you click marked "Skin". Frank-West 18:55, November 3, 2010 (UTC)

god thank you Frank, it does work. I think I still can edit on wikia. Maybe I can create a "best viewed in monobook" Mediawiki:Sitenotice directing people to change their preferences.
