I am Iggyvolz, and I am currently working on creating the game Fightmon. When you pass a level, I want it to say "Congratulations on beating Pluff! Do you want to tell your friends?" If they answer yes, then it will redirect you to a new post in your user blog, saying "I have just beaten level 1 on Fightmon the Game:Reemon". I know how to do that with URL parameters, but I don't know if there is a shortcut to your user blog (like Special:MyPage and Special:MyTalk). Thanks, Iggyvolz 02:21, February 12, 2012 (UTC)
- Uberfuzzy had planned to add redirects for that previously (as well as Special:MyJS and Special:MyCSS which would reflect the correct page depending on your skin choice) but never got around to them. I am sure you can contact Wikia about it and they could add a Special:MyBlog and/or Special:MyWall redirects too. Rappy 05:12, February 12, 2012 (UTC)
- How about asking Wikia to implement those globally? 65.92.182.149 08:05, February 13, 2012 (UTC)
- That's what I said above. You can contact Wikia and ask. The more contacts they get about it, the more likely they will be added. Rappy 08:10, February 13, 2012 (UTC)
- I have filed the necessary ticket for review and if we can determine it is easy to implement (part of the issue we may face is what to do with Special:MyBlog on wikis that do not have blogs enabled), I will try adding it to the system within a week or two. No promises, but it is now "officially" under consideration. --daNASCAT

- I will also add that we will consider the Special:MyJS and Special:MyCSS, but that's also slightly tricky because there's a number of JS/CSS files that can be in the user space per wiki, which one should be the "MyCSS" page (I would suspect global.css). --daNASCAT

- Fuzzy's original idea was to send them to the local /skin.css or /skin.js file. IE... http://c.wikia.com/wiki/User:Rappy_4187/monobook.css if my options was set to view the site in Monobook. Rappy 21:35, March 28, 2012 (UTC)

- You mean add an option AND support Special:MyCSS or Special:MyJS? I would think if you added an option in preferences to switch between Oasis and Monobook, it would be hard to say you don't support Monobook. Is this a stealth attempt to get Wikia to support Monobook officially? -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 28 Mar 2012 1:56 PM Pacific
(Reset indent) No, this was me discussing Uberfuzzy's plan before he left Wikia. He was going to hard code something like this. Rappy 03:26, March 29, 2012 (UTC)
- Special:MyBlog has been implemented and will work beginning with the code release on April 11th. It will work exactly the same way Special:MyPage does. It's also been nested inside of the Blogs feature, so if your wiki does not have blogs enabled, this special page will not work if you try it. --daNASCAT

- Thank you so much! Iggyvolz 01:29, April 4, 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry to bring this up again, but when I go to http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Special:MyBlog/Example_Post_You_Dont_Have?action=edit it redirects you to Special:CreateBlogPage and asks you what you want to call it. Is there any way that I could have it skip this window and go directly to the edit box for the blog post "Example Post You Dont Have"? (that's just an example. If you have that blog post, it won't show up the error). Iggyvolz 02:31, April 14, 2012 (UTC)
