After testing on multiple computers, I noticed that the editor doesn't work properly on all of them. On one of the computers, only half the buttons were present, and the source view button was not there, so it's impossible to add pictures, etc. On other ones, the buttons are there, but functions such as pictures don't work. When you attempt to insert the file, the normal small loading bar pops up but immediately goes away without adding a picture. I'm sure there are many more. — AZNWonton 20:53, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

According to the Wikimedia usability Initiative, the editor only works on Firefox and Internet Explorer. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk) (Deeds) 00:29, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
All tests were done on Mozilla Firefox. AZNWonton 00:47, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Hi there, sorry that you are experiencing issues with the new editor. Do you happen to have any screenshots of these bugs, as we cannot reproduce them in FF. Could you also tell us which OS and version of FF you are using. Thanks for letting us know. As soon as we can reproduce we will get working to fix these. angies@fandom (talk) 01:20, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Additionally, are you running any addons or scripts on those PCs that could be interfering? It's certainly odd that you're seeing it on multiple PCs - it's not something we've seen come up elsewhere. Kirkburn  talk  contr  @fandom  07:40, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
I'm running Firefox on Windows XP. There are no addons no scripts; clean install. Here's a screenshot of the pictures and video bar missing.

I don't know if its relevant to this issue, but running the latest stable version of a browser is usually a benefit. Ose TalkContribs 18:02, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
We can't reproduce it at the moment, unfortunately. Does it also occur if you try logged out? Per Ose, I also recommend upgrading to Fx3, but I realise this isn't easily done for everyone. You should certainly try and get your Firefox 2 updated to for security reasons though. Kirkburn  talk  contr  @fandom  09:30, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Another issue, this time with my primary house computer. It uses the latest Firefox 3 on Vista 64bit. No matter what I do, the dialog box always pop up when I attempt to add a picture. Here is a screenshot.

This isn't an issue specific to the new editor. It's happening to people using the old editor as well, and apparently it's Wikia-wide. The 888th Avatar (Talk) 08:49, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

You are missing a portion of code, but I dont know how you are getting this error since i have follow normal steps reported Forum:Problem inserting an image with the new editor and i keep been able to upload --Cizagna (Talk) Dofus » 10:58, 05 April 2009 (UTC)
I've also reproduced the last bug. Replied in that forum page because it's a bug of the Wikia Mini Upload extension, not the new editor. --Ciencia Al Poder (talk) -WikiDex 15:30, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
