Hello, someone could please help me to understand how the flow of translation is handled? I can't figure out why there is both a translatewiki.net and a translators.wikia.com. Which is the best way to quickly see my translated message to became effective? I've translated some system messages on http://translatewiki.net, i.e. Photo Gallery extension. How much time after a translation is made, it became visible wiki-wide? Sorry for multiple question, but I'm a little confused! Gifhtalk9.05.2010 18:38 (UTC)
- Please add translated messages to http://translatewiki.net because they will be imported automatically to Wikia every week. Translators wiki is just a place to point to for Wikians. I think they should update every Friday, but I will check back if this hasn't happened recently. Regards, Marc-Philipp (Talk) 17:03, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
Thank you, I've completely missed the "weekly" reference. Gifhtalk9.05.2010 19:45 (UTC)
- Sorry for the confusion - we need to make it clearer. Typically all stuff should be translated via translatewiki.net. The translators.wikia.com wiki is used for coordination of translators interesting in translating Wikia stuff. It was also used in the "pre-twn era" for translations. --Avatar
