Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere already (I did some looking around and didn't see anything right off the bat). I'm on staff at the Final Fantasy Wiki and we've been having some... strange problems today. I'm not sure if this is happening anywhere else or not. I'll try to explain as best I can. Here goes!

Sometimes, when users click on a link to a page on our wiki, they are taken to the title of a page on another wiki. For example, I just refreshed the Recent Changes page of our wiki, but was taken to a page titled "Goldsmithing Guide by Gatsby," which is not a page from our wiki and, therefore, is empty. I took a screencap to show what I mean. As you can see, the URL is correct, but the page is not. This has been happening to other users today, as well (see our forum discussion here). We're not sure if this is a Wikia-wide problem or some kind of vandal attack.

I saw this happen exactly once on the Traveller wiki this afternoon. I saw the page was "Pokeman" while trying to upload a image. When I tried it again, the problem went away. Tjoneslo 01:41, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes, it seems to be intermittent and random. When I refreshed the Recent Changes again (see above), it went back to normal and worked fine. However, it keeps happening. For example, I've tried to go to the same page four times now, but keep getting taken to the same empty page from another wiki. Anons have started "reporting problems" on pages due to this mess, but there's nothing anyone on my wiki can do about it, at least that we know of.
