Search shouldn't have been affected, but LinkSuggest was. Unfortunately it's rather hard on the servers, so it's generally the first thing to switch off if there are issues. However, we're working on preventing that from having to happen. Kirkburn  talk  contr    19:20, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

The Search suggestions in the monaco sidebar IS affected because it uses the LinkSuggest extension to get the data. Maybe it would be desirable to use the opensearch extension for the search suggest. --Ciencia Al Poder (talk) ^-WikiDex 19:48, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
