Well sadly, I believe they may be right because most websites don't support people who use their forum to promote another site and doing so makes it spamming (adding URL links to promote a website) ..sorry, its better not to post links to sites on Forums that might not allow so in one of their "Conditions and Policy" ..Cheers...--Cometstyles 00:14, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Actually, that is a really hard question to answer but try looking for other forums which are open to the idea of self-promoting websites and most of the times as staed above, it will be shown in the forums "Rules, conditions and policies"..looks for websites that allow this .. :) ..--Cometstyles 01:19, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

If you want to promote it on a forum, put a link in your signature, and post as normally. If the forum is about the same subject o the wiki, you can eventually reply to a post with a link to the wiki, not to the main page, but to an article which could be relevant.
