I'm looking for a two-row, three-column table. You'd have the title of a character in the upper center cell and the character himself below it. The left column is "Preceded by" and the right one is "Succeeded by." Wikipedia has them for all kinds of things. Turtle Fan 22:03, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Almost, but the "Preceded By" and "Succeeded By" category counts as one row, and there's only one other row. For a grand total of six cells instead of nine.

The box at the bottom of this one--found a nice, short example for ya--isn't quite what I had in mind (perhaps I was misremembering the format?) but it will do just fine:

Complex template indeed, it uses arround 6 templates to work out >.<, looks like a series of templates all working to make a wide array o possibilities, the above box has change the code to appear, like the other one after all that template clean up

This is the code you have to create a page in the Template namespace like "Template:Sussesionbox"

Corrected the error adding the <noinclude> </noinclude> tags on the template that way the example of your template will not appear, also note that i added the between the text that you put on the sinclair page because that forces the line to break, as the template is manage by % so the bigger is one cell the other cells will react, im trying to look for the code that will force the words to avoid warping so you can custom a little more, if you need i can add more fields so you can put other stuff like the "(southern victory)" separate making it little bit more easy and avoid the words to warp what do you think? --Cizagna ^(Talk) 02:09, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

I am looking for the same thing but little more complicated. I would like to have an option to have a multi preceded by and a multi succeeded by table. Example 4th succession box table. I am most thankful for whom ever solves this. Enforcers 15:59, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
