Is there any way to test whether or not Message Wall is enabled on a particular wiki using wiki markup? I tried this but it doesn't work =/

{{#ifexist: Message_Wall:Mathmagician | Message wall is on. | Message wall is off.}}

Message wall is on.

Ha! Even parser functions hate Message Wall.
{{#ifexist: Message_Wall_Greeting:Starfleet_Academy|y|n}}

This does work. "User_talk" still works, but that isn't so defined since we all have archived talk pages. Um... S:C yet again? I've sent one in over searching for "Message Wall:Starfleet Academy" brings nothing, but "User talk:Starfleet Academy" still works. If this code is for you, then make sure you activate your greeting everywhere. Best I can do... :/ STARFLEETACADEMY 01:33, May 15, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. I can see that being a decent solution for most intents and purposes. However, it will incorrectly evaluate to true if an admin turns off the message wall again (because the greeting still exists afterwards). But, this answers my question as far as I'm concerned. -- Mathmagician 05:08, May 15, 2012 (UTC)
