hi, I've added a new dark background to my wiki, where the text goes, and now you can't see the text! How do I change the text colour for the whole wiki?

Assuming you gave the dark bg to "#wikia_page", you should then use #wikia page { color: white; }. Links are #wikia page a { color: lightblue; }, redlinks are #wikia page a.new { color: red; } and visited pages are #wikia page a:visited { color: blue; } (use whatever colors you want of course).
