I'm new to all this, so please be kind.
I am trying to figure out how t get rid of the tooltips for the Edit Toolbar and Category toolbar. The edit one says "New! Edit toolbar. See help to learn more." and the category one says "New! Category tagging toolbar. Try it out or see help to learn more". They cover up stuff and won't go away are driving me crazy.
I'm using Firefox 3.5.1 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.1) Gecko/20090715 Firefox/3.5.1 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729))

- We had a bug where the close icons were not appearing - this should now be fixed. Kirkburn talk contr

- Nope, still happening. They won't go away. I tried ctrl-F5 to reload everything and still no luck.--Theodosius 20:24, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Have you checked your wikia preferences? If you got the same screen I have, there should be a "more" icon in the upper right of your screen. Click on that, and then the Editing Tab. You should be able to find what you need.--Kirk 20:17, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- I see nothing that seems right. There are 2 checked boxes: Enable Rich Text editing and Enable section editing via [edit] links. Nothing there seems to be the thing I'd check to turn off those blasted tool tips that refuse to go away and keep some of the buttons and the bottom of my text annoyingly covered up.--Theodosius 20:24, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, my apologies, I thought this fix had already gone out. Sorry about that! It should be going out today. Kirkburn talk contr
