Hi,

I just tried to create a new wikia, but I kept getting a message saying "You have exceeded the the maximum number of wiki creation today ($1)." It has been awhile since I created a wikia, and I definatly haven't created any today. I even tried using a different account, but still got the same message. How long will it be before I can create a new one? Am I only allowed to create one per month?

Looks like a bug to me ($1 is a variable...), try fill in the form at Wikia:Contact us. -- Sixorish 22:22, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

This was a problem related to the maximum number of wikis in total, not the maximum per person. We are looking at changing that limit, and making the error message clearer. What exactly is the maximum number of Wikis currently? I've gotta put my guess up at around 1,000, but I could be wrong.

If it's the total amount of wikis on Wikia, it's many times that number. — TulipVorlax 23:45, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

There are coming up to 20,000 wikis now, but I meant maximum per day not in total. :) Angela (talk) 01:55, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
