Please add your questions not currently in the FAQ below. Hopefully beta testers or Wikia staff will answer them.
Once the questions are answered and edited for grammar and spelling, I (or someone else) will move them to Forum:Wikia’s new look - User questions - corrected. At some point I'll ask Wikia staff to move them from there to the FAQ or just transclude it to the bottom of the page.

Your Questions
What will the new logo dimensions be?
I assume they will still be PNGs. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 3:48 PM PST 17 Aug 2010
- I don't think (s)he means the type, (s)he means the width and height, which you probably don't know. --Jeffwang16 (Talk) (Contributions) (Email me!) 23:07, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
- Your comment makes no sense. There has been no info about wiki logos in the blog post or FAQ. WHo is the (s)he you're talking about? I'm the one who asked the question. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 4:15 PM PST 17 Aug 2010
- "Dimensions" means width and height. PNG is the type of image. --Jeffwang16 (Talk) (Contributions) (Email me!) 13:05, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
- He is asking about what dimensions the images will have to be. Below is another question :P. —Manyman (talk) 21:38, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
- If one resizes the screenshots they showed us to the stated set width of 1000px, the dimensions, ignoring possible margin in the image, is 196 x 44. If they meant the content area only will be 1000px wide, then the logo would be 251 x 55. Either way, the ratio is about 5:1 - Help:Smelly Users (talk) was last edited at 12:33, September 1, 2010 (UTC)

- For now, it is 300x60, and can only be PNG (if you use the ThemeDesigner). See http://trac.wikia-code.com/changeset/26054 --Pcj (T•C) 13:40, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
What is the new name for the new skin?
Newlook? Crystal? Stufferoni? LOL. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 3:56 PM PST 17 Aug 2010
- Inspecting an element of the new skin design, it appears that the new name could be "Oasis". The 888th Avatar (talk) 05:14, August 29, 2010 (UTC)
- The initial plan was to call it "Wordpress", but it was rejected because it would make so obvious where they plagiarized the skin from. And for legal issues, of course[citation needed] --Ciencia Al Poder (talk) -WikiDex 09:29, August 29, 2010 (UTC)
- A few reasons to call it Oasis for now:
- People have been calling it Oasis
- The staff have responded to the comments calling it Oasis, without disputing the name
- A few people mentioned a new look called Oasis, before the blog entry was posted
- On trac wiki's skin list, Oasis is listed, while it wasn't before, and this includes the code of the page shown in the screenshot.

- "We will also continue, for now, to support the skin as a personal (viewing) choice for those readers that have a strong preference." (referring to Monobook from the FAQ) The 888th Avatar (talk) 10:54, August 29, 2010 (UTC)
