Well as the name suggests i'd like to create a wiki about winter sports. As a skier myself (and a very very fresh snowboarder) I originally thought of just a skiing wiki, but after some considering I figured that a broader subject might be better, as I fear the reqruiting might be a little bit difficult. And that's really the reason i'm asking here and not requesting it already. How could I best recruit a community? Should I post on some forums? Anyone have any experience with this? - Skiing on its own could indeed be too narrow a field: the Swedish one has been inactive for several months. Have a look over some of the other Category:Sports. Maybe the SnoWiki is waiting for you; you could work on it without feeling responsible as founder. — Robin Patterson (Talk) 21:07, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
