[show] Error in text
Edit
I think there is an error in the text. In my mind in "Non-free Creative Commons licenses are also not permitted. This includes images which do not allow non-commercial use or derivative works (NC and ND licenses), since these are non-free" should be replaced by "do not allow commercial" which is the meaning of "NC". 159.226.129.8 02:52, January 6, 2010 (UTC)
References to GFDL
Edit
At least two. Are they overdue for updating? (Preferably before my new assistant on "Country Life" takes them as gospel.) — Robin Patterson (Talk) 02:50, May 4, 2010 (UTC)
About copyrighted images
Edit
If I'm not mistaken about the content of this page, I can make use of copyrighted images, as long as I note the image under the proper copyright? If that's not the case, then forget I even asked. But if that is possible, then could somebody explain more plainly how I can make use of the copyright tags, so I don't keep getting copyrighted pics deleted? I mean, I love some of the pics I find, so it's pretty disappointing to see them soon deleted. If there's something I can do about it, I'd be most grateful to know what that something is. Thanks in advanced. Shadowulf1 (talk) 08:19, July 7, 2013 (UTC)
Adding tags
Edit
Is it possible to edit/add new tags? DinoTaur 19:53, September 13, 2013 (UTC)
- You can edit the list on MediaWiki:Licenses on your wiki to add new licenses to the dropdown of the file upload page. You will need to create the Templates yourself, of course. Existing templates (like for example Template:Fairuse) can also be edited. - Tjcool007 (Wall) 20:03, September 13, 2013 (UTC)
