Disable my redirect to Wiki Activity Edit

What is this? I see it in my preferences and it's checked, but I have no idea what it does. A quick search here and on Google didn't turn anything up. Someone who knows should describe it here (on the help page). - dcljr (talk) 09:28, December 30, 2010 (UTC)

Hi, When you visit a wiki, you are automatically redirected to the wiki activity page , rather than the main page. Unchecking that box leads you to just go to the main page. --Sarah (help forum | blog) 16:44, August 25, 2011 (UTC)

No access to preferencesEdit

Strange, I can't access my preferences despite being logged in. My name doesn't appear on the top right and so there is no drop-down menue I could enter to change any of my preference. Maybe it's because for a few days I have to use an operating system (Windows ME) or could it be browser?--Mr Mancala 07:18, August 25, 2011 (UTC)
