This page talks about solving an equation, but Special:Captcha says "the wiki may show you an image of colored or distorted text and ask you to type the words shown".  At least on the main Wikia site, it seems to be the former, not the latter.    Ryan W 09:36, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

This is due to the captcha currently running in simple mode, which will be changed to images later if it works out. See m:ConfirmEdit_extension. To see the image captcha, try adding an external url to m:Meta:Sandbox. --Splarka (talk) 22:55, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

disable? Edit

Is there a way to disable the captcha for individual wikia? Or a way to allow selected users (or perhaps non-new registered users) to bypass the captcha? The wiki I'm working on (woot.wikia.com) will have a pretty decent number of external links.--Kovo 19:11, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
