Hi, is possible to use old <gallery> like in Wikipedia? Others i will have to add bordersize=none and other parameters to all our galleries. --Karkos 12:19, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Slideshow "Stop" Option?
Edit
Is there some sort of "stop" option on the slideshow? This is a feature that would be nice as it is used on our main page and it would be nice for people to click to move to the next images in the slideshow rather than have them auto-load. Also, would it be possible to have the slideshow cropped to fit the picture rather than be fixed width/height? --M1shawhan 03:30, September 30, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes. Clicking Next or Prev stops the automatic progression. -User452 22:20, April 24, 2011 (UTC)
Slider Gallery
Edit
The Avatar Wiki uses a unique gallery slider on their front page. Their code is similar to how a ordinary slider would be, but it is right on their main page in gallery tags. More specifically, gallery type="slider" . I've been trying to replicate the same thing on another wiki, but it only shows up as a large blank space. Does anybody know how I can replicate this? It looks a lot better than the traditional slider and it'll be easier to edit without waiting a full day for the slider to update every time. Neocarleen • Talk 10:56, December 8, 2010 (UTC)
- I'm trying to figure this out too, the best I got is this post here Forum:Help_with_a_sliding_gallery
Slider Gallery
Edit
At my home page there is a slider with 4 pics, but in 3 pics it just cuts a 1/4 of the photo. I wanted to know if there is something I can put between "<>" that can solve this? and If not what is the dimension of the cutted part? talk 17:42, October 2, 2011 (UTC)
Comparing sliders, slideshows, and galleries
Edit
See Community: Forum: Gallery Slider Question.
Then see Portal:User:Timeshifter/Sandbox 18. It illustrates what is discussed in the forum. It has examples of a slideshow, a gallery, and a gallery in a show-hide box. --Timeshifter 14:13, April 10, 2012 (UTC)
Stop Automatic Scroll
Edit
Is there optional wikitext to prevent the automatic scrolling of Slideshows and Sliders? OGRastamon (talk) 12:53, November 10, 2012 (UTC)
- I'm getting the sense that this site is completely useless when it comes to getting questions answered.--OGRastamon (talk) 13:39, November 26, 2012 (UTC)
I'd like to change placeholders background color
Edit
Is there a way to do it? --Slider2k (talk) 07:45, April 10, 2013 (UTC)
