Layout issues[]

The code overlaps the ToC and stretches the page a ton .. maybe spread it across several lines or something? -- Sixorish 08:08, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

It shouldn't be stretching the page - what browser is that? Kirkburn (talk) 11:21, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
Firefox, but I think the issue is with the skin. I use cologneblue (personal preference, I just got use to it before we had monaco) monaco / cologneblue monaco is in a box (rather than text floating all over the ToC) -- Sixorish 12:48, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
or maybe an edit to CSS to make anything in pre tags to be put in a box (like it is on monaco)? -- Sixorish 08:24, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Setting an image as a background[]

How do I set an image as a background in templates?

{{{1}}}

I want http://i52.tinypic.com/2r2psb7.png as a background.

Boxes[]

How do I make it so that the text in my template is in a box like the template at the top of the page? I need a box that will automatically fit itself to the text.

Auto-Blanking Functionality[]

I just received a tip that one can set parameter fields to auto-blank when no input is provided by using the following format:

{{{parametername| }}}}

(That is a space after the | symbol, without it the '-based text formatting can go a bit wonky.)

This should probably be added to the article proper, though I'm not sure of the best means of wording to describe the functionality.

Thanks for the suggestion - I've added a note to the page about it. Kirkburn  talk  contr    18:57, April 4, 2014 (UTC)

Images In The Box[]

Is there a way to add an image in the box?

What exactly do you want to do? You can pass an image link in the parameters of a template and then display it by using the parameter you passed it in. You can also pass the image filename (like Image.jpg) and then display it with [[File:{{{yourparameter}}}]]
