Numbered lists have bad layout Edit

Can anything be done to make the numbers line up properly in wikia numbered lists? (Applies equally to bullet lists.) It seems that if you add sub-lists, this centres vertically the previous number: see this example:

Why isn't it the same as mediawiki formatting? - see this link:
