I hope this helps in some way, I haven't checked any of the 5000-10000 Page wikis since I highly doubt they've changed significantly enough to be in the Top 26. [[User:Shadow Inferno|Shadow Inferno]] ([[User talk:Shadow Inferno|talk]]) 13:17, August 19, 2015 (UTC)

Laugh out loud

I was doing my monthly check on wiki articles (I don't know why I'm interested), and the Turtledove wiki has 4,999 articles. . . Should I give it a star or wait? Thanks, TimeMaster Talk Main Contribs 22:03, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Just wait; its time will come. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk) (Deeds) 22:43, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Ok. It is very strange. . . Thanks, TimeMaster Talk Main Contribs 18:30, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Non-English wikis

Polish shadowrun wikia has 4000+ pages. Can it be included here? --Dinki 19:43, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Yes, the requirement is 2,500 articles or more. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk) (Deeds) 01:27, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
How to do it? Where should I apply? :) --Dinki 20:08, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Just add it to the article; there isn't any need to apply. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk) (Deeds) 20:42, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Actually, this page is just meant for the English wikis. I don't think there's a page for Big wikis on the Polish version of Central, but it would be a great thing to create! -- Danny (talk) 21:01, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

WikiIndex

More of these (including this wiki) should be on http://www.wikiindex.org/Category:Wiki_with_20%2C001_to_50%2C000_pages (and the categories each side of that?). — Robin Patterson (Talk) 04:07, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

New Icon for 10,000+

Perhaps a new icon for wiki's attaining an excess of 10,000 articles or more? Square for 2500, Star for 5000, something new for 10000. Bonziiznob 14:51, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

LyricWiki

Since LyricWiki joined with a freakin' 880,000 articles, maybe that one should be added? Mark (Tedjuh10) - Talk 23:10, September 1, 2009 (UTC)

World of Warcraft

The information still says that it is the biggest wiki even though it is now outranked by two wikis. Solar Dragon (Talk) 08:37, September 3, 2009 (UTC)

The Sims Wiki

Shouldn't The Sims Wiki be one of them? They are a very big wiki.--Bleeh 02:24, January 5, 2010 (UTC)

The Sims Wiki has 3,700 pages -- a nice big wiki, but not one of the biggest. They're listed on the page. -- Danny (talk) 02:41, January 5, 2010 (UTC)

Counting by 1,000s

For the top wikis section, we've been updating the list when a wiki reaches the next 500 articles. What do you guys think about just making it 1,000? The 500s don't feel as impressive to me -- "more than 58,500 articles" doesn't sound as good as "more than 58,000 articles". Also, I think it gives people the impression that we count by 100s; I regularly fix the page when someone adds a 700.

The next 1,000 articles is an exciting goal -- and for many of the wikis on this page, it's something that comes up pretty regularly. Would anyone object if I rounded everything down to 1,000s? -- Danny (talk) 18:57, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

I know I've only left this for a day, but what the heck, I'm gonna be bold and make this change. If anybody has an opinion about it, feel free to post it and we'll talk about it... -- Danny (talk) 02:28, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
Sounds like a good idea. Joey (talk) 02:46, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
Sounds ok, we should also consider making different language versions to allow the bigger German, Spanish, French, etc wikis to show off their bigness. I've noticed instances where some of those were added to this listing. --User? 03:45, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
There's a German version on de.wikia -- Portal:Größte Wikis. I don't know about the other languages... -- Danny (talk) 19:33, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
Oh, I see now. There is a German, French, Korean, and Chinese version linked from the Hub in the languages widget. --User? 20:30, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

Religion Wiki

I was wondering why our Religion Wiki is not in this index. at the moment we have around 29.000 articles and our wiki is supported by Wikia . Friso Yoyon Schaap(Talk) • (Religion Wiki Administrator) 16:11, January 16, 2010 (UTC)

That's an interesting question. It looks like in the last couple of months, you've imported about 28,000 articles from Wikipedia. That's an interesting approach to building a wiki, but it's not really the same thing as a community writing one page at a time. We decided a while ago not to include Proteins Wiki for the same reason -- that wiki has 48,000 pages, but they're all bot-created, and it's more of a database than a community wiki.
So I'm interested in the way that you're building the wiki, but I don't think it belongs on this page. For the same reason, I'm going to take Website Reviews off the page -- they've got 60,000 articles now, based almost entirely on bot creation. I don't think that's in the spirit of the page, which is designed to encourage communities who are building exceptional wikis by hand. -- Danny (talk) 03:52, January 17, 2010 (UTC)
Hi Danny, Thank you for your fast response. I couldn't find anything about it in the HUB FAQ thats why I placed my question here. and I noticed that more wiki's are using the import function. Regards --Friso Yoyon Schaap(Talk) • (Religion Wiki Administrator) 11:03, January 17, 2010 (UTC)
Sure, no problem! I hope that things go well on Religion Wiki. -- Danny (talk) 21:18, January 17, 2010 (UTC)

Asheron's Call Wiki

Currently Asheron.wikia.com is listed as a 10,000+ wiki in the lower section. Checking the statistics pages asheron.wikia.com has 18,500 content pages, guildwars.wika.com has 18,042 content pages, and tardis.wikia.com has 16,288 content pages. The Dr. Who and Guildwars wikis are listed as the bottom two of the largest wikis, but shouldn't the Asheron's Call wiki be above them? --An Adventurer 16:53, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, good call -- we missed that one. I added it to the top section, thanks! -- Danny (talk) 18:21, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

Microwiki

MicroWiki has 2,782 articles. -- Secundomia 19:06, April 17, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for posting about it, I added it to the list! -- Danny (talk) 20:25, April 20, 2010 (UTC)

Darthipedia

Darthipedia has the most page, but why is there with a blue logo from 2500 pages, while it has the most pages of all Wiki's? Could someone that please explain to me.--Station7 14:04, May 14, 2010 (UTC)

It is a fake page number. They don't really have that many pages. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 14:18, May 14, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks Solar Dragon. I didn't know that.--Station7 13:18, May 20, 2010 (UTC)

Annex

The Annex has 2,928 articles as of now. Quin 23:19, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Doctor Who

Looking at the big wikis up the top, it seems that there's room for another, in the sense of making each column have the same number. Tardis seems to come close to Guild Wars, having over 18,000 articles as well. Not sure how to get the image implanted though.--Hawki 00:59, August 14, 2010 (UTC)

Honorverse

Just to update that we have 4,861 articles so far. --Farragut79 20:01, September 5, 2010 (UTC)

PokéFanon

Why isn't our wiki on here? It makes no sense. we have 4,460 articles and counting! PokéFanon -Universal 16:21, January 21, 2011 (UTC)

Scratchpad

w:c:Scratchpad has over 70,000 pages, but since it's made of multiple smaller wikis, does it really count? Slicer Out 20:35, April 22, 2011 (UTC)

Logopedia

http://logos.wikia.com/wiki/Logopedia has 18,000 articles. This should be updated.

There's too many of them!

There are now 200 wikis on this page, and that number is only going to increase. I think that's too many for this page to be really meaningful, so I propose that we increase the pagecount requirement for appearing in this hub to 5000. All in favour? All opposed? -- Supermorff (talk) 09:52, November 3, 2012 (UTC)

Naruto Fanon

15,600 articles and still moving, needed to be updatedJayCeeCee 03:15, December 24, 2012 (UTC)

So update it. -- Supermorff (talk) 14:52, December 24, 2012 (UTC)

Non-English wikis revisited

I've just checked all of the language links. Only a few wikis in any of them would displace several of the English ones if the lists were merged.

However, not every significant Wikia language has a community site on which to create a list. I've just discovered what's probably the world's biggest Semantic wiki - and it's a Wikia! Biology, in Lithuanian, would easily fill slot 3 here, with 583,000 articles.

How about a list on this wiki or on Wikia, Inc. for the biggest wikis in any language?

-- Robin Patterson (Talk) 10:26, October 11, 2013 (UTC)

Sounds like a good idea.  Staw-Hat Luffy  Talk  08:19, October 13, 2013 (UTC)

Wikianswers Legal

Hi, the hub page says that w:c:legal.answers has over 159,000 edits but in fact it has 2,170 -_- Is this a linking problem, and if yes, can somebody please fix it? Thanks.  Staw-Hat Luffy  Talk  08:17, October 13, 2013 (UTC)

I checked. Claims 159,000 questions here, but its main page and stats agree with Luffy. I've commented it out. Thanks, mate! -- Robin Patterson (Talk) 09:27, October 13, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, we deleted all the bot created questions. Thanks for fixing. — Jr Mime (talk) 12:50, October 13, 2013 (UTC)

This wiki

You forgot to put this wiki on the list (it has more articles than some wikis on the list) Cowiki124 (talk) 10:03, November 12, 2013 (UTC)

Military wiki

I was going to ask why the Wiki I have been active in building isn't showing but I see that Wiki's that import content from Wikipedia take a backseat here. I find that unfortunate. With this particular topic, there's just no reason to not use the existing content in Wikipedia as a base to starting it. They already have a huge footprint in the Military history arena, we just can't compete with that. But there are a lot of limitations there that we don't have or need (like the drama for one). As another example the notability requirement there states only top honors like Medal of Honor recipients (with no other notability) would rate a page. Here we can set that lower. I will be the first to admit the Wiki I work on still needs a lot of work and I have been doing tens of thousands of edits and imports a week to get it there. In the next couple months I should be able to get it into a good state to be proud of, and be able to really start focusing on content creation and improvements, but with 167, 000 articles (not counting redirects), many of which originate from Wikipedia, if my Wiki is going to be forever hidden from view, I have second thoughts about investing the time and energy into building it. I hope that some criteria can be developed that will allow these wiki's to be accepted into the community instead of relegated to the basement of Wikia. Otherwise we may as well just tell people they can't use content from Wikipedia. Reguyla (talk) 17:35, January 4, 2014 (UTC)

Asheron's Call Wiki

As of this edit, the Asheron's Call Community Wiki lists 26,482 content pages on its statistics page. I believe this should place it above the Third Turn wiki which currently lists 23,824 content pages on its statistics page. --An Adventurer (talk) 14:04, January 30, 2015 (UTC)

Hi An Adventurer, I know this reply is really belated however. I believe that the Top Big wikis section of this page is quite outdated, I agree several wikis should be n there that aren't but it would take some time to do a complete sweep to see what the current tracking wikis are, whether it will get updated or not, I do not know although I would hop they update it at some point. Shadow Inferno (talk) 05:12, August 19, 2015 (UTC)
I added Asheron's Call in response to this message, shortly after it was posted. If you know of other wikis with enough pages to make it onto the main list, point them out here and I can add them as well, though note that each one will boot the last listed wiki from the list, to keep it at 12 items. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 07:41, August 19, 2015 (UTC)

Updated List of Biggest Wikis

So just earlier I did a quick check on the largest wikis and a few things first, the Everything Auto Answers wiki needs to be reduced to a Yellow Star it only has 6000 Articles now. In addition, the Legends of the Five Rings Wiki & Final Fantasy Wiki both need to be upgraded to Red Stars with LotFR Wiki having 26999 Pages & Final Fantasy Wiki having 25682. In addition assuming that you're keeping it at 26 for the Big Wikis here's the new list please note that Alternate History Wiki, CrossGen Comics Database & Military Wiki are included although since I'm unsure if they're supposed to be included so I've also included the 27th-29th as well. Also some Wikis have changed positions the first one being Vintage Patterns Wikia.

  29. Ben 10 Fanfiction - 33,446 Pages

I hope this helps in some way, I haven't checked any of the 5000-10000 Page wikis since I highly doubt they've changed significantly enough to be in the Top 26. Shadow Inferno (talk) 13:17, August 19, 2015 (UTC)
