A few days ago, the chat bot on ESB (Encyclopedia SpongeBobia) started leaving and entering chat, then eventually the bot was gone completely, it has been this way for a while now. I was told by other users that you are the one who coded the bot and I was wondering if you knew anything about this.
Hi, I just wanted to let you know on the "Special Summons Tokens" under Yu-gi-oh, at the end of the monster list is a link for the last 26 on the list, but it only takes you to a blank search. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Special_Summons_Tokens
Not sure if I messaged the right person so if not if you would please direct me to the right one lol.
Recently, a user (Jdogno7) was blocked on a wiki that I regularly visit after I explained to an administrator that he was performing edits he was previously told not to perform. This was his third block, so I suggested to the admin of that wiki that the block be made permanent.
Today, I received a message on my wall here from Jdogno7 that quoted my entire post to the admin and accused me of lying. The only way Jdogno7 could copy that text is if he swapped accounts or logged out to intentionally evade the block. I know that logging out to evade a block so you can read a wiki probably isn't against the rules, but surely doing so to engage in cross-wiki harassment is, right?
I've asked him not to contact me directly any further, but he's ignored such requests in the past, so I'm worried he may continue to do so.
I know. I literally said "I know logging out to evade a block so you can read a wiki probably isn't against the rules" up above. What I'm here about is the cross-wiki harassment, not the reading of the blocking wiki.
Edit: Sorry. To clarify, I didn't know that you could still read a wiki when blocked, so thank you for making that clear, but I didn't assume reading a wiki you were blocked from was against the rules anyway. Either way, I'm not reporting him for reading the post, I'm reporting him for harassing me about it.
Yes, something needs to be done about Jdogno7. They either want to talk stuff to death and get explanations, and explanation of explanation, and explaining why the explanation of the explanations...(get it?) until they are satisfied(which seems like it would be never) or they are unable to use their own skills to figure things out themselves. Either way, I don't believe they should be participating in any wiki until that changes.
At a minimum they need to stop creating discussions to try to find sympathetic users. They haven't succeeded yet.
Userpage Bot is a bot that listens for activity on all wikis and when it sees a Staff member/Helper/VSTF editing on a wiki where their userpage hasn't been created, it creates it using their global template.
