For Fixing one of my faulty templates at Tractor wiki. I've cured the missing Icons now for it. Needed uploading, and code swapping from svg > png as for some reason I cannot save .svg's ( that templates not a lot of use but it appeared in doc pages and is probably recyclable for other uses later). CoH Paragon wiki fork Edit

What are your thoughts on the forking of the wiki, and the sustainability of wikia's version? Should there be any effort to attempt to merge changes in the new Paragon wiki back into wikia's? Image on Fringe wiki Edit

I reverted wholesale simply because I overlooked the changes to the image ref (although using the other URL might only have become an issue if the image were replaced) and image alignment; the other changes were inconsequential as it was valid syntax both before and after your changes. Fringe Wiki Edit

I've seen several problems with the Fringe Wiki (though I have seen about as many successes as well). Some of these problems are slightly large-scale, however, so I want to get your approval before I do anything else.

The "crossref" templates

There are two problems with the crossref templates.

1. There's one template for every episode. The same function could be achieved with one template and a lot of parserfunctions.
2. REFs and REFERENCES are the proper way to cite and display sources on wikis. The crossrefs completely contradict this.

The best solution, in my opinion, would be to replace these templates with one template ("Cite episode", in the fashion of similar templates). This one template would allow the user to specify the episode name, season, and/or number, and it would (assuming that valid input has been given) fill in the rest of the information, and present it in the proper format.

(I could create such a template, if my assistance is necessary.)

No manual of style

Without a manual of style, standardization of articles is difficult if not impossible. This leads to inconsistency and disorganization. I'd recommend taking a look at Halopedia's Manual of Style for ideas.

Empty sections

They make the page look sloppy and unprofessional, and bloat tables of contents. Simple solution: remove them.

Sources

I have seen very few sources (with or without REFs) cited on the wiki. A citation policy would be ideal -- it would help people find sources, and detail the best way to add them to articles.

Drama Camp-Half Blood Edit

Hey, vgfsirius, Camp-Half Blood wiki admin and Sucker Punch bureaucrat here. Alot of activity is starting to happen on Camp Half-blood wiki, and i would just like to update you on the situation in case you didn't know

• We have upcoming head counselor elections for THREE of the 4 cabins.
• Requests for adminship and rollback rights are piling up (most of whom have been members for 3-4 months only)
• New users are ruining attempts to smoothly have cabin elections (I feel that they haven't read the rules of the wiki, and admins arnt getting respect)

So I humbly come before you to beg that you grant me 3 wishes:

• Make Thebiguglyalien an admin, he's been at camp a month longer than me(over a year), is in the top 3 on the leaderboard, and has a lonnnng history of keeping the wiki up to standards.
• Instead of granting adminship yourself, you could promote an admin to a bureaucrat.
• I heard that TheAvatar is no longer with us? I know that i can never replace him, but i could have a more active role at camp if you grant me Bureaucratship. I'd really like to be able to help more on the wiki. just a thought, as i am learning alot about managing wikis on the Sucker Punch wiki.
