I'd suggest explaining what a round robin story is. Is this wiki for others to contribute to the story?
Then on the main page, I'd suggest linking to good examples.
Is this for just one story?
Nice start. I'd suggest adding a page with instructions. Are you going to post a first chapter. If there will be more than one story, I'd recommend that each chapter be in the category of its story title.
So under Variants On Round Robin Format I could post links of examples of round robins stories on the Internest? Then I could add the instructions page?
Sure, or on a page (or pages) about variants you could describe the variants (with optional links to examples), under a page of examples, you could give a brief introduction to a few examples and then links to them. And yes, have an instructions or guidance page to let people know your vision for how they can best participate. Luckily with a wiki, all these things can evolve as you learn more and as the participants weigh in on their preferences as well.
Glad you liked it. I'll make some other changes. If you don't like them or want to go in a different direction feel free to change it back.
Your profile page is good, and the primary point for your user talk page is for people to leave messages for you, so don't worry about it.
Well, you can either fill that in manually, updating what's been happening on the wiki, or there is a way to automatically post the most recent changes. (I'd have to remind myself of how to do that. We did it on the Literature wikia. I'll check and put it in. You can take it out and do the manual description, if you prefer.)
I hate to bother you, but I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to creating a new wiki. Even though I read all the instructions, there's so many features to use, I find it really confusing since I'm not a tech geek when it comes to wiki programming.
Hi. I'm not staff, but I'll help as I can.
Start simple. There are people here who will help with layouts and things if you want.
Have you requested a wiki yet?
First step, pick a topic area and title. (Make sure someone hasn't already started it. If they have, I recommend starting there instead of creating a duplicate and splitting up the effort.)
I don't chat here much. I used to when I thought the topic was wikia and helping users, but when I was told that it was anything (that doesn't violate the terms) I quit stopping by as often. I'm not really interested in random chats with bored people. I have a busy enough life without trying to keep others entertained.
