Well I couldn't get staff to confirm that Rainbowfly was one of your accounts, however it's still very suspicious behavior. Your block won't be lifted, however Rainbowfly's block will be.
You are free to: Share, remix the work. Under the conditions that: you attribute the authors, and you don't use it for commercial purposes.
Those are the conditions of the license. If we can agree to attribute your Roblox wiki in an acceptable way (via a link on the template: page, for example) then not only should you be satisfied, but you would no longer have a legitimate complaint otherwise. No "permission" is needed, but Sean, you should consent to this change.
As for disruptive editing, I would not think an effectively infinite ban to be an acceptable first offense, though I have not seen an example of the alleged offense myself. You and I, Colgate, we are established members. Seanconnoll is new. If there is an issue with his work, you should discuss it with him before taking drastic action. So can we discuss grievances and try to reverse them? Both sides will have to cooperate.
He was not banned by me, so it's not under my jurisdiction. As for CC-BY-SA, I would appreciate every article being attributed to Roblox wiki that has to be.
I will have to side with Colgate here; having seen your attribution on the main page, I don't think that would be quite enough. The usual practice is to put licensing information on the template page- it's under CC-BY-SA, here's a link to the same page on Roblox Wiki, et cetera.
I'd be willing to help with any grievances. Work with me my friend.
I shall add a licensing template to each page. If they're templates, I will make it so the licensing is not copied when the template is placed in a page.
The template can take an optional parameter. If there is no parameter given, it will link to the page with the SAME name. If a parameter is given, it will link to the page named for the parameter.
It will also add the pages to w:c:freerice:Category:Pages From The Roblox Wiki. They're not showing up in that category at this moment because the server needs to purge, but it's all working nicely.
If you think of any more pages that need to be marked, let me know.
I haven't been up to much! I've been editing on a few different wikis, but overall I've been not up to much on Wikia at least. We can chat here on Central if you want to get caught up.
Haha! I think I can agree for the most part. I dislike the lack of structure the wiki has, I think it needs to be more strict. As for moderation, I just think we need mods that are not all on at the same times as each other (9 AM - 3 PM EST, please?). We don't need three mods all on at 9 PM EST at once....
