Yeah, he goes from being a bloodthirsty Soul Reaper to a protective babysitter! I really want to see Yachiru get in a fight. She didn't become Lieutenant by just sitting around.
Gin's pretty cool, too. I just like how he grins all the time, even when the situation for doing so is inappropriate.
I was thinking of it more being like who would the little girl fight xD
Tite Kubo (the author of Bleach) said "...grinning, an act of intimidation." I guess Gin's trying to show that he isn't at all intimidated by his enemy and finds it amusing or he's trying to intimidate them by making them wonder why he's smiling.
I remember when all the guys in my class in 5th grade (only 6 of us. 12 people in all) started getting into Naruto and I became the unluckiest person in the class because all of my favorite characters died. At the time, Zabuza was my favorite, and I also like Hayate (that judge from the Chunin exams who always coughed) and Dosu (sound ninja from Chunin exams), both of whom died in the same episode less than five minutes between their deaths.
Then I met Jiraiya...He was my all-time favorite. I thought I had escaped the curse, but alas! A few years later, Jiraiya was killed! Woe is me! Kisame, who became my second favorite after my former favorites were all killed, was also taken by the curse.
I like to join chat but my Internet Connection is just bad (*big Time*). school's next week already how can I be active if their's school. I guess I should leave this wiki thing and just focus on my studies. I think that's the right thing to do but don't worry I will come here once in a while to check you.
