Hey, Jal. It's one of your old pals from League of Legends wiki troubling you. Used to go by the name of Feirund. I wanted to ask you a little something given the opportunity, but I haven't seen you with us for a long time, so I was wondering if you could swing by for a couple of minutes to hear me out?
Hey JAlbor, another wiki "call-of-duty-unoficial" has been copying content from our Call of Duty wiki without giving us attribution. I've already informed the Founder on their message wall and a content page 24 hours ago, however nothing has changed. For comparison here are two pages from both Wikis: W:C:call-of-duty-unoficial:Edward Richtofen / W:C:Callofduty:Edward Richtofen.
Not that you asked but I can say you're already are doing the right steps and that's alerting the founder about the copying :p
Here's a little peek at what you'll probably get as a reply.
"If they're not currently attributing the content, we recommend that you contact the admins responsible for this content and explain this policy to them, and share the link. If they are unwilling to address the issue, please send us"
I have only just noticed that I am blocked on the games hub, although I did nothing. I simply inserted a deletion template in a comment to suggest that the blog post, which was obvious advertising, be deleted. Requesting unblock.
Hey CrackFoxJunior. I'll jump back in again today and monitor, but for future reference, you should use Special:Contact to alert our Community Support team, who have more availability and hours to help out.
We're having an issue on the Dragon Age Wikia with someone creating new user accounts and repeatedly stalking and harassing several users as well as vandalizing the wikia. Their accounts have been blocked multiple times but they continue to make new ones and harass users. We could really use a staff member to put a more permanent solution to this in place.
That's not ideal. I have two recommendations. First, send Community Support a message via Special:Contact. It'll get the report in the system and they'll be able to help out. Second, send me some recent examples and I'll ask some of our team to keep an eye out as well.
They've been repeatedly targeting and harassing one user across multiple wikia sites also. Its in the history of the user accounts listed there. I have filed a contact report already with the staff via contact. Some help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Hey so i need to change my wikia so that only members can edit. Can you help me with that? 1) Because if they vandalis i can have an easier time by blocking them or banning. 2) Non-Members already once deleted the page and replaced it with something else. 3) I want to know which member is which when they edit. 4) One non-member posted a hack on a page.
