Jiawheinalt, the #time parser always shows the current time. That's why when using a custom signature, you have to substitute it in. Else, per your example page above, signatures would always show the current time or the time the page was last edited by any user.
This is why the signatures of users like Ozank and Monchoman45 use {{subst:#time:H:i, M j, Y}}.
Erm... those magic words don't exist in MediaWiki - and even if they did, it would still have the same issue. The REVISION magic words show the date of the latest edit by any user. You'd still have to subst: them to fix the time/date.
Hello, uh, I can see you are an admin so I wanted to ask you a question. You see there is a user from one wiki I work on who vandalized my talk page on another Wiki I work on to avoid trouble. How can I make it so he doesn't that again, because he's the "do whatever I please" type of guy?
If you are an admin, give them a formal warning, if they continue to vandalize, block them. If you're not an admin and no admin on that wiki hasn't addressed the vandal yet, then give an admin the edit history on your talk page to show them and let them decide depending on your wiki policies there. I hope you have reverted the vandalism since the edit too.
Hello. Um,you don't mind at all, may I also ask a question? You see there are three users arguing in a wiki I work on and I have yet to find a sollution to end the debate. One user argues that he was imitated and insulted by the two other users while the other one argues that he may insult directly, but atleast he doesn't change pages to mock other people. A little help on my situation is appreciated.
Well, if pages were changed during that argument, that can be deducted as vandalism. (especially when used to cause strife such as mocking others) The ones who have changed the pages should be warned, no matter what their stance is on the debate. Depending how bad it is might be worth blocking, too. But anyway, if the debate is disrupting the wiki overall then you should try to stop it as soon as possible, and if the other users refuse then tell them to keep it away from that wiki.
I'd like to ask a question too,if I may. The site I'm working on is currently in a war with another wikia. Users from both wikis are on an editing war and the admins are too irresponsible to even take notice. Thank you for repyling, which I know is what you'll do.
Ask the admins to notice formally, if they don't, then perhaps ask them to make you an admin (if they have bureaucrat rights) so you can deal with it. Cross-wiki vandalism isn't good or constructive, I'd also ask the users from each wiki to truce and stop. If there are still no admins taking action, and the vandalism gets excessive, then you should report it on the VSTF wiki.
Being in an "editing war" sounds very petty - hopefully users of your wiki will realise that it's a waste of everyone's time and go back to just leaving each other alone.
