  • Hey. I saw your message on the thread about the new theme.

    I'm pretty pro with CSS; if you want to I can redesign the global navigation for you, as you asked. Just reply to this message how you want it to look and I'll put up the code for ya. =)

    • If it's the FANDOM text specifically you're having trouble targetting, try using the following to see if it's selecting what you want (the provided sample should turn the text black):

      .wds-global-navigation [fill="#FFF"] {
          fill:black;
      }

      Technically, it should be hitting any and all elements inside the header that have that same exact fill value, but I think only the FANDOM text is using it. Still doing some tinkering on my end to figure out how to target some of these elements.

    • Alright, I got it finished.

      .wds-search-is-always-visible {
          background-color: white !important;
      }

      .wds-global-navigation [fill="#FFF"] {
          fill: black;
      }

      a.wds-global-navigation__link,
      .wds-global-navigation__link span,
      .wds-no-chevron,
      .wds-global-navigation__start-a-wiki .wds-global-navigation__link-button,
      #wds-icons-bell path,
      #wds-icons-note path
        {
          color: black !important;
      }

      .wds-dropdown__toggle .wds-avatar__image { border: 1px solid black !important; }

      This gives the following navigation:

      Wikia Nav Restored

      Copy-paste the above code in your global.css. Have fun!

  • Hi SuperSajuuk! You might remember that the other day in the comment section of a semi-weekly technical update, you provided me with the new element for some customized items in my user account nav. That change worked perfectly! :)

    But, I have one other where the same element does not work. If you take a look here you can see where I tried it … and failed. :(

    You wouldn’t by any chance know the correct element I should use there, would you?

    Thanks! Face-smileSpikeToronto 01:07, October 3, 2016 (UTC)

  • I was at the Elder Scrolls wiki chat and I asked the bot a question just for fun

    "KINMUNE, suh dude?"

    "Ask SuperSajuuk, he proably knows"

    I never see you there though

    • That's because, if you look at my user profile on TES Wiki, I am currently blocked for reasons that can be very accurately described as being "fictitious" and "utterly misleading". The block will expire in a little under 2 months time, but whether I'll go back there, when users slandered me based on false information, is debatable.

      Flightmare probably added that long before I was actually blocked on the wiki.

  • ..global-navigation #GlobalNavigationWallNotifications .notification .avatars .avatar {
        border-radius:0;
    }

    This makes notification avatars have a square icon for consistency with the user's own. :D

    • Since I don't edit enough wiki's to showcase that information. Plus, it's too difficult to manage, as there are too many wiki's in my "list", so trying to get valid wiki's that I don't dislike would be a waste of time :P

    • Lol so you just said, I don't care about them, delete it lol.

  • The big problem is that I couldn't post this inside the wikia's community portal due to being blocked including other people. I removed your post since it's wasn't really helpful for the discussion.

    Best wishes.

    • The point is still valid. Wikia Staff will not intervene in a demotion discussion if it has not been done on the wiki in question, that's how the system works. Removing a post which is designed to help you understand how to resolve the problem shows non-understanding of the way of doing it properly. If you are blocked, then you should consider contact Wikia Staff about the issue.

      EDIT: It seems Staff are already involved. Therefore, there is no point holding a discussion here, since Staff are sorting out the issue. If they are not able to solve the issue, then it may be necessary just to make a new wiki and accept that the other wiki is not going to go very far.

  • Hey man,

    I haven't talked to you in a long time and then I saw you'd been blocked! Whoah, what happened, if you're comfortable talking about it?

    Also, I was making the TES Wiki Wiki and needed JS enabled so I could make custom titles of various sorts, and add emojis for chat. I believe Crusader has other things planned.

    And yes, I did say TES Wiki Wiki - it's a wiki about the TES Wiki. It's a half-joke, but the actual content is serious. Come check it out if you want: http://teswki.wikia.com/wiki/TESW_Wikia.

    Cheers,

    -Ned

  • Hey, thanks for the global nav stylescheet. I'm not sure if you noticed, but the classes for the nav got changed and it no longer works. :(

      Very much doubt that's true, but these are easy to fix and aren't that hard to counter. :)

      mind explaining why those are being changed? no longer possible to easily waive away template types besides using monobook.
