Can you make SM091 on Pokémon wikia, please? It's titled something like this, "Pikachu Outbreak! The Pikachu Valley!" But since you're better at translating as I am, you can make the title sound better.
I've been aware of that title for a day or two now (since an hour after it was originally posted that day) however the only evidence we have is an anonymous Japanese textboard post that claims it was based on information copied from shitaraba (another text board/2ch related website) with no image or particular TV guide cited. Serebii and Bulbapedia are not official or primary sources, regardless of how many people treat them as such. Serebii claims they come from "multiple TV guides", however I do not have access to the source and there were no pictures or names - remember, he has claimed magazines and TV guides confirmed the title when the title was fake in the past.
Also, I have translated the summary and posted it on the discussions and Discord (it's obvious that I'm better at translating, since the only way you and most people are able to "translate" is Google Translate and other sources of computerized translations which is the easiest way to spread misinformation; note that machine translations posted on the wiki's Discussions forum will be considered as pointless comments and deleted and warned against as such).
Also, the title is "Outbreak-chu! Pikachu Valley!!" "Pikachu Outbreak" is not what it says, it says the kanji for "outbreak" ("large occurrence of an event") and then the katakana for "chu". and it's based on a real life Pikachu and Pokémon related event.
Hey there. I've just heard that SM064 has been banned from the English dub. The reason is that because of racial stereotypes and Ash having a blackface. Can you revert the episode back to SM064 on the Pokémon wikia website, please?
Wow. First TPCi episode to be skipped for sensitive material such as not being politically correct as far as racial bias goes, and not for being an out of the way clip show. I was kinda surprised when I got those messages on my talk page.
Sorry to message jump, but I was really surprised that the episode featuring Passimian got banned. It didn’t happen since the original series. And I wanted to hear what they sound like in the Dub. And the title would’ve been called "One for the Passimian!". It’s always something with racial and bias.
All day today, the wikias all over internet explorer has been acting funky today. It somehow takes a long time to publish in edit when I try to make a change. Is there a bug in the system or something? I don't know what's going on here.
I was able to save edits to my talk page on the Pokémon wikia via Chrome, so all I can give you is that the usual cases for this is either your browser (especially if out-of-date) or your internet. And yes, I have just returned from a San Juan trip that required a plane so I'm now once again active on here and YouTube.
Dramatica Wikia is now shut down. In addition, the FANDOM Site Staff will monitor your every move, so you do not post any such sensitive and personal information anywhere else. Any violations, and your career on Wikia is over.
VideoGamePhenom, this kind of message is not helpful, and can be viewed as harassment. Though you are free to report concerns to the support team, you do not choose how we enforce the rules.
As a general request: please try and stay out of each other's way in future.
He's known to give attention to anything "wrong" that happens to me; which has no valid relevancy to the "something wrong happening to me" part at all as the closure of a wiki created by someone else for TOU infractions (which I reported) isn't anything "wrong" that happened to me.
Additionally, I will be locking this thread as there is nothing that needs to be discussed. And yes, I did actually make reminders for it to be closed even though it didn't contain any private information.
Closed, finished, over with, drama settled, nadonado.
Hey there. Earlier today I’ve been having problems logging onto Bulbapedia. I tried logging on but it keeps saying incorrect password. I have had about enough with it. So I’ve come to a decision that I am retiring that website since you keep telling me it’s an unreliable source. But I can still go and surf on it if I want to.
As for Bulbapedia, I don't know however it could be a glitch. They have a forums where you can maybe ask in their help boards about this issue. It would maybe be best to try getting the password reset if they have a way to reset the password so you can change it to another one.
As for reliability, I meant as with the fact that anyone can edit it. pokemon.wikia.com is not a reliable source on Bulbapedia/Wikipedia, the same way Wikipedia or Bulbapedia are not reliable on pokemon.wikia.com or any other wiki for that matter. For example, another page on the same wiki isn't a reliable source either on one page since it's editable by everyone and therefore might not be correct, but at least since we both edit the same wiki, if there's something incorrect, it's easy to change - a wiki is more of like a community project for sharing facts and information about a subject, though anyone can edit it since it's a community site, any wiki works like that. I don't mean "unreliable" as in that it guarantees login issues, that's a different thing.
Bulbapedia has weak servers and has many glitches. For example, there was one that the CAPTCHA wouldn't display and no one could create an account. The best thing to do from here is either wait and try again while making sure your cache/cookies on it are cleared or ask on their forums (forums.bulbagarden.net).
This is precisely the same issue other users are experiencing and reporting. Bulbapedia is known to have several glitches like this. Webmasters will realize this over time on that site and it'll be fixed. Bulbapedia does however tend to have this situation pop up constantly. However, Pokémon wikia never ends up having this occur - usually I experience glitched database locks that happen to occur only for a single moment when editing then returns to normal but this is something that the Bulbagarden webmasters would need to handle.
Yeah - I've actually tried what you said you tried and have experienced the page being unable to load, so it's best to wait and see if it's fixed then. It could be fixed tomorrow, or in days from now. If not, it's best to post on Bulbagarden Forums or even PM the webmasters on there and wait and see what they'll do to fix it. This is the appropriate forum.
I don't mean to rushing people and all. But how long is fixing this problem going to take? Because I've been growing a tiny bit impatient with it. And I've tried resetting my password again, but I'm getting the same problem as I had yesterday. I thought it was fixed by now.
Ugh, this is hopeless. I'll never get back on to Bulbapedia. The reset password button and the website itself is acting all glitchy since it kept saying gateway error time out. That website is useless now. (sighs) I've just about had enough of this. I'm giving up.
That's been happening for a long time now. According to a Japanese user I've talked with on this situation, Bulbapedia has good resources to avoid this type of trouble with the errors but Bulbapedia's webmasters don't really put them to effective use. Now, the website is locked from editing due to US/UM which releases tomorrow.
Yeah, this is a standard thing they do every time there's new games releasing (and they maintain this locking for a short time following the release as well, I believe). When Sun & Moon released last year, they did the same at this time of year. And Bulbapedia is glitched and I believe you can't even view revision diffs without an error. I tweeted about this and a Japanese user I know retweeted it.
Hey. I know you've told me that Bulbapedia is not a reliable source, but I have a big problem with it. All day yesterday, I've been trying to log myself in to make a few edits, but every time I do that, it keeps saying 503 error and it won't log me in. Do you think there's a huge bug in the system that everyone has been trying to fix all day?
As for the reliability thing, even an administrator on Bulbapedia has said that Bulbapedia isn't a reliable source when editing on Wikipedia so it's not anything against you specifically. As for Bulbapedia (where you're Seabiscuit2020), I've actually explained to Kyurem147 that some parts of that site are down and it's only allowing me to view a few pages from Google Search. Bulbapedia is prone to server issues, which gives us on the Pokémon wikia an upper hand in these types of situations. Could be due to Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon or the Dusk Form of Lugarugan (まよなかのすがた) giving popularity to overly editing some of the pages. If you have a Twitter account, try messaging @MAGNEDETH and tell him the issue. You only have 140 characters to use in a tweet, but make sure the tweet includes @MADNEDETH at the start so that webmaster receives the message.
The wiki talks a hacker group called Anonymous they wear mask and fight against New world order illuminati police brutality, ISIS, Russia & the government. Go to the wiki & watch videos there. Yeah, I'm usually busy on other wikis, but I found some info on the Wikipedia article we can add in (if we copy-paste it, we'll have to put up a Wikipedia template so people know it's from Wikipedia, maybe we should try to rephrase it into our own words). Anyway, does this photo already exist on that wiki?:
