This is a belated question, and I haven't been following FANDOM Technical Updates for some time, so if this has been announced somewhere, can you point me towards it?
So it's about two seemingly expired extensions; <nicovideo></nicovideo>
For the first one, I don't believe it was even listed on English wikis, and I randomly discovered it while browsing Japanese wikis, and was glad since I actually use that site!
But anyways; um, so the problem actually stems from wanting to have a video on my master profile template, and have it still be playable when I placed it on my profile cross-wiki. For two years the old <youtube></youtube> extension actually served perfectly, until one day when I was updating the rest of the content of that template, upon pressing published, Wikia for some reason automatically changed the extension to a CC upload, which, at that point, would not show cross-wiki-wise (I have not tested again.)
It was after that I switched to using <nicovideo></nicovideo>, which lasted for awhile (though I have been using that extension elsewhere since 2015, those were some good old time!) I have to admit I had not been on Wikia much during 2017, so I do not know when <nicovideo></nicovideo> also stopped working.
Is there a way for a video to be playable cross-wiki?
If the Monobook skin even "violated" GDPR (it didn't), then why did you not make FANDOM install the CologneBlue or Vector skins? That is the worst part about taking Monobook down. Maybe you are just blaming the EU and GDPR and just want everyone to be exposed to trending FANDOM articles. Please install a new skin. Thanks you. Joey P.(Talk)(Contact)
How do I use theme designer. I can't change my wiki background with it and I can't change my favicon nor can I change the colors for header and buttons and will actually change to those colors. Tell me how to!
Hi, I am an admin of Necyklopedie. We have been forced to leave MonoBook and use the default skin. So I have some question how to customize it to make the work with it better for us. I do not want any personalization for me, but only changes having effect for all our users and readers including anonymous ones. (see below)
A: Is It possible to fill the spaces A on the left and right or make them narrower?
B: Where can I set translation of these links?
C: How to change the name of the Main page from "Domů" back to "Hlavní strana"?
D: Is it possible to omit the Recent activity field? It brings us any new information, it is redundant, and it makes the space for the articles self too narrow!
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but when I used the Monobook format and clicked on an article on another Fandom it would often go from blue to purple. It was a good way for me to keep track of articles I had already visited also if I were taking information from them and putting it on a Word document for my own personal use. But that doesn't seem to happen using the Wikia format and I was wondering if there is way to get that to happen using the only format that currently available?
Hi, is there a page somewhere that tells me how I can find stuff? In particular, I'm interested in finding easy ways to reach the follow: Recent Changes, All Special Pages, and the button "What links here".
If they are not available. Is there any way to customize something, so they can be reachable? --OuWTB 12:12, May 25, 2018 (UTC)
Thank you! Is it possible to customize these so one doesn't have to click or hover, but simply click once? Also, if that customation is possible, can we add Special pages too? --OuWTB 12:57, May 25, 2018 (UTC)
