Hi,
I'm an admin on Don't Starve Game Wiki. I've recently added a small script to disable replying to comments that are over a year old. It works fine when it is loaded, but it doesn't always get loaded. The script is here and it is imported through ImportJS. When I go to any page on the browser I typically use, the script doesn't load (also checking through the developer tools of the browser, it is not part of the bundled scripts). When I refresh, it does. When I go with privacy mode, or on a different browser, it also loads correctly on the first time. First I've assumed, since I've developed this, maybe it is getting confused for whatever reason, so I ignored the problem. But today, I see it doesn't load for other people as well, which indicates a bigger caching issue. I've tried purging pages, making no-change edit (I think null edit is the right term?) to importjs, neither worked. I've not made a null edit to the script itself, it is waiting for review. I doubt it will be, because using the js test mode I still don't get the script loaded on the first load. I've tried looking at the network requests to see where is the caching is happening, but I'm not sure which request is supposed to have this, and there are too may of them, so that wasn't helpful.
Does anyone knows what is going on, and how this can be fixed? Thanks
