  • Here are the release notes for FANDOM's code release scheduled for November 8, 2017:

    • NOTABLE: Google recently changed the format for their news RSS feeds, which may cause 'This RSS feed URL is deprecated' notices if you've been using these feeds on your wiki. To solve this, please see this section of Help:RSS.
    • KNOWN ISSUE: We are aware of an issue where an automated update to Theme Designer settings is incorrectly changing the encoding of some wiki names, such as turning apostrophes into 's. This has been reported to the team for investigation, but can be immediately fixed by updating the wiki's Special:ThemeDesigner wordmark settings.

      Nothing, if it showed up as the entity. However, it shows up as the number text. So you'd see Rappy's Wiki instead of Rappy's Wiki.

      The part in the code #039 is of UNICODE, a standard often used in HTML. It produces an Apostrophe symbol which is ', whereas the code &amp will produce an Ampersand symbol which is basically the &  symbol. You can find out more at www.w3c.org

      Example: &example;

      Ampersand: &

      Apostrophe: '
