  • At the Minecraft Wiki, almost every day a different user asks how to get a license for Minecraft. Because it is asked so often, I explicitly wrote the answer in the guidelines. However, it still persists. Any advice on the best way to handle it? All I could think of was just continuing to answer the question again and again whenever it pops up.

    • Just close or remove the threads that continue to ask the question if it's bothering you this much. In the former case, it would be more convenient to leave the answer in the close summary.

    • As it currently stands, Discussions does not allow answers for locking, deleting, or reporting.

The main thing I am considering is how the users would feel: a brand new user finds this wiki and signs up. They ask a question, and the first response is this.
