A couple of months ago, a user named Lorvaul the Warrior created a wiki named "Fantasy writers wiki". However, he managed to forget his password and has now created a new account (this was permitted by Atvelonis on TESWiki) named The Beartooth. The wiki was never really used, but I recently started editing on it. Beartooth is looking for new admins, but of course he can't promote any. We agreed to come and ask for both of us to be given bureaucrat rights, so here I am. I expect he'll come and testify, and if necessary we can get proof from a TESWiki staff member. So if possible, could we both be promoted (and have Beartooth's old accont demoted)? Thank you.
It would have been better to link to the user pages on the Fantasy Writers Wiki instead of The Elder Scrolls Wiki.
Atvelonis is just a local admin on The Elder Scrolls Wiki. Because user accounts are an inter-wiki feature, they are controlled by Wikia staff, not local admins. As such, his/her permission has nothing to do with being able to create a new account.
To clarify, local admins are not Wikia staff. Local admins are users just like you; but with elevated privileges. The scope of their authority is that specific wiki. For more information on the different user groups, see Help:User_rights.
Along the same lines as #2, since this is an issue with a user account across all wikis, it is best to contact staff. The other users here cannot do anything other than suggest help pages (like what Dunnoob did).
