Sorry for booting an old post, but can there be updates in the future for editors to choose what sections get collapsed on mobile? I understand that it will help increase page load times, but some readers might gloss over the most important content. (This is just a suggestion).

Or maybe in the future, I would think that there should be Special:Preferences for mobile, and one of the options should be if the sections should stay collapsed or not.
I meant there should be two options: Sections should either be opened or closed, but by default, sections should be closed by default.
yeah thats what I mean. Autocollapse would be default. (like the wikipedia mobile viewing).
There should be something that changes so that sections can be open by default (some sections, at least).
