The privacy policy is here: http://www.wikia.com/Privacy_Policy
Thank you. I've had a couple of complaints, so I'm bookmarking the page after I reread it.
Thanks, but that's all about the privacy of users: what data FANDOM collects on us, and what they do with it.
I'm looking for guidelines on the privacy of third parties: what are we allowed or not allowed to post about the people we write on in articles: specifically, when and under what rules will FANDOM remove an article from a wiki for invasion of privacy.
I had an article removed the other day, and I don't want any more to follow, so I'm trying to learn those rules.
The privacy policy is pretty transparent. In the section titled "Sharing Your Information", 4 points are the times when they will share. All 4 points are straight forward and are expected.
I don't think there's something specific, and varies per wiki and subject. We've had people (industry professionals) request that we removed info, which we did as a courtesy.
I think it's best if you take your concerns to staff directly at Special:Contact/general.
Thank you for the reply and the link.
