I do so occasionally, as a personal favor to the IRC community :)
The first stage is to find me on IRC, I'm often there in the evenings San Francisco time, although not usually in the Wikia channel (which is unofficial now, of course). /whois to see if I'm around and /query me. Then I can verify you own both accounts, and try to ask Freenode to set it up.
This is all totally unofficial and in my own time, so I'm afraid that if you can't find me when I'm on IRC, then I can't help.
