You aren't supposed to do that. You're not supposed to bump old threads.
Are you joking, or is this a rule? I am busy and I cannot be bothered to check this right now.
Also this is an issue that the WIkia staff are not helping with, or have not provided much information for new founders to change the sizes. This isn't a critical issue however one must admit 19x19 is criminally small whne placed a modern 1080x1920 screen. It's hard an emote when the text itself towers over the image.
You actually are not supposed to bump threads.
But back when I used to actively use wikia, I remember there was a method to change the emoticon sizes. I can't tell you the exact method, but if you head on over to Lego Message Boards Wiki, they may be able to help you.
i'll just, tag along... incase someone says the answer...
I will experiment via my own profile picture.
When you want to decrease a size, the link of the image of the emoticons page should be vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/central/images/4/48/Jack'sAvatar.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/250?cb=20170111100236 or the like.
Replace the 250 part with what you want the size to be and replace everything else with the image.
I found a way to fix it!

please note that the links on this'll be to my wiki, so, take the same advice, but for your wiki, type, thisisnotarealwiki.wikia.com/wiki/MediaWiki:Chat.css but replace thisisnotawiki with your site name yea... so, that should help.
I’ll just paste what I had on my Wiki :)
It’s quite easy, you just have to use Chat.css to resize them. First, pick an image trigger, like (wave)
for example. Now you just have to resize it in Chat.css, like this:
img[alt="(wave)"] { width:100px; height:100px; }
img[alt="(wave)"] { width:40px; height:60px; }
img[alt="(wave)"], img[alt="(joke)"], img[alt="(laugh)"] { width:40px; height:60px; }
I hope that helps!
If you want to have optional size, you can also install w:c:dev:ChatTags and add next css:
.message span[style="font-size:7pt;"] img { height: 12px; width: 12px; } .message span[style="font-size:16pt;"] img { height: 30px; width: 30px; }
after that, if you write
[big](wave)[/big] (wave) [small](wave)[/small]
in chat, all of them will have different size depending if you used a specific tag or not :Ъ
