Hey! I'll take these one-by-one.
1: I'll mostly leave it to the lawyers to handle that, but I'll say that we've had "Fandom" orbiting the Wikia name for a very long time. I doubt anyone could make a legitimate claim to copyrighting the word "Fandom".
2: Yep, that's something we're working on now. We need a "bucketing" system for the submissions. That's in the pipeline for Q1 of this year. In terms of submissions: we're trying to keep them balanced. Sometimes there will be a momentary imbalance in the submissions, but over the long term we want them to be fairly close.
3: This is also in the works. It's being developed by our Social product team. I hesitate to give a date when it'll be done, but I can't imagine we'll go more than a few months without a discussion feature.
4: We're keeping a close eye on branding - our Marketing team is highly engaged with the Fandom platform. To your second point: I really, really like this idea and will bring it up with Fandom's editor today.
Thanks for this, Fandyllic!
