I'm LukeLC, author of the work-in-progress novel, RiNG: 2076. I keep up the RiNG wiki so that I have an organized place to add the various details to the story (technology, corporations, etc.) and so that my readers will have a place they can go for definitions to add depth to the story (although I will do my best to make the story understandable without reading a million definitions on this site).
If all goes as planned, RiNG: 2076 will be the main setter-of-the-stage, and a fairly stand-alone work, but will be followed by a prequel detailing the backstory, which will in turn be followed by a final novel that concludes the story of the characters from 2076, tying up one major loose end.
