Tamar is a digital media strategist, who is working with Kosher Media Network as the Director of Digital Media. She is also a founder of joyofkosher.com and is an executive editor of this online Jewish food community.

Earlier, she worked with University of Maryland, College Park as clinical hospital dietitian and a research associate and also as Information Technology Coordinator for the District of Columbia Metropolitan Area Dietetic Association. She was also the Project Coordinator for Center for Science in the Public Interest.

Tamar was awarded by District of Columbia Metropolitan Area Dietetic Association as the Young Dietitian of the Year for her outstanding contribution as a dietician. She was member of the American Dietetic Association and the Nutrition Entrepreneurs and Food and Culinary Professionals dietetic practice groups.
