My name is TsukiYaksha 月夜叉 (Forest Spirit of the Moon). "Yaksha" in Sanskrit refers to the name of a Hindu goddess. When it was introduced to Japan (夜叉, Yasha) and China (夜叉, Ye-tcha), it changed its meaning to Yōkai ("demon" in the English literature), especially in Chinese, it specifies to "the yōkai of sharp teeth that eats human for food".
