Nyambian people of Valmasia

Nyambe ("Literally Meaning; Tree Of Life") are a clan or tribe of ethereal human that were blessed with both a fragment of the red phoenix's eternal flame and a fragment of the black phoenix's corrupting flames. Hailing from the southern continent Zulu the Nyambian have been actively at war with stray dangers of Gehenna to protect their country since the creation of the Human Race. Though there were other continents with peace barriers to keep the remnants of evil at bay, Zulu was not one of them. Patently as any human they bare the blessing of freedom via; free spirit and the extraordinary ability to commune, practice, and potentially master magic. With the inborn nature of fire prevailing as an inherited affinity they're oddly restricted from manifesting Holy Magics.

"Love is God" - Abassi Nasir

As inky black clouds shrouded the northern division of Zulu, violent gales tore up earth from the surface. In this Akuma and Angel ilk sought prosperity through war that had been waged for 89 years dismantling the ideal of peace. Humans of both occultic depravity and ingenuous righteousness pit their swords against each other for power as the Nyambe simply fought to keep and maintain peace, for the day either side of corruption inherit the earth, peace would no longer be found. Upon the endless land were bodies of fallen brethren and demons of the people of Zulu. Some sadly fell into the will of war and the concept of the corrupt and perished. During this war a man of great spirit, isolated himself of worldly things, traveled the lands, and lived life rebuking his sins; Becoming a student of Life. The Red Phoenix noticed this, the humility, the genuinity, the patience, and peace of the man and decided to follow him upon his travels; governing his soul. Under the same sun there was a woman; Ruler of Zulu who sought to protect her people at any cost, her wrath knew no mercy for those who have slain her people in immodest pursuit for power. She was strong willed, militant, uncompromising, and just as sensible as the Traveler. The Black Phoenix noticed her vice, her wrath, her unyielding strength, her council and inlenient judgement and decided to follow her upon her conquest to victory; governing her soul. As the turning of sin wavered man's soul, more and more people began to not only defy the Divine Council but inherit the land to self; Establishing a monarchy built to protect their power and their placement. Upon the hermit's return to his people, he found a land shrouded in darkness, the emotions of the men and women were thick with depravity. Using his vessel as a temple he'd council them but to no avail, their thirst for vengeance was too strong. Having been living in the streets of Zulu he began crying. Not tears of sorrow but those of determination, he felt weak spiritually and loathe himself as he pursued his answers. One day upon his many days of council he became exhausted, drained, and sleepy when a light of ravenous flames burst through the dimensional plane of existence. The man's eyes let up as his they fell upon the manifestation of all life. Having spoken to the  being it then offered him the power he needed. The very next day he began cleansing the overbearing darkness that held Zulu. Before long he'd be noticed by the Queen and asked to be in council with him to which they would argue beliefs, philosophies, and ruling together. Eventually Zulu knew a King, and while corrupt creatures still lurked the earth the two being hosted by the Phoenix drove away the evil that fell upon their land.

Years have been spent humbling the humble people of Zulu, teaching them the strength in love and togetherness, while also teaching them the unyeiling strength of willpower, honor, and sacrfice, the nation began to grow into a promising land. Relying on nature to nurture life magi flourished a jungle where large ferocious beast lay wake to any who deem to enter the Kingdom of Zulu. Though momentarily the people knew peace and with this the marriage of that man and woman was founded, and the first child of the Phoenix was born.

Religion

BookOfManyGospels

As most humans that inherit the earth worship their creators the people of Zulu Worship the creator of their creator, God of Atmos. In their eyes Kraus simply followed a path that was destined to happen by God or as they call him Yehowah. While Valmasia is a country that Kraused blessed his people with a book of his teachings. Zulu was the country of many books that all held the teaching of Kraus (The Anointed One) and Yehowah. Yehowah is an all knowing, all powerful being that created both the Angels and Demons, he is the first to create true freedom. Of course, two of the gospels that hailed from the book of Kraus fell into the ritual of their beliefs, this was merely irony as both Wisdom and Mercy were both things the King of Zulu taught his people. The book that rested among the Nyambian was known as Baie Evangelies ("Literally Meaning; Book of Many Gospels"). The first three authors of the Baie Evangelies wrote the books of Courage, Mercy, Wisdom, as the students of these men that governed with one another wrote 7 more books, Death/Sacrifice, Life/Compassion, Wonder/Knowledge/Moral. After years upon following the sacred 3 those students took on three more students who wrote the books Peace, Love, and Healing. Lastly, several years after all the teachings have been written, the Red Phoenix appeared before Abassi Nasir and upon the blessing he bestowed upon him, he was able to connect to that of all that was God (Baie Evangelies) and wrote the final book of "Joy".

The form of their worship is usually practice by sowing seeds; nurturing the land, Dancing in the rain, Singing songs of their gratefulness, Tending to the beast of the forest, and generally maintaining the balance within the land that was given to them. Physiology

Due to constant war the people of Zulu had yet to see the sun, merely tales from the Baie Evangelies of what it actually looked like. Because of this most of the humans created were pale and colorless, as there was no need for excessive melanin to protect their skin from heat. Patently as all humans, Bantu or Nybamians are composed of both the same spiritual and physical aspects, the physical being the body or temple and the spiritual being one's mana circuits or spiritual circuits that allows them to be ethereal beings.

When a Nyambian is born of pureblood, the flames of the phoenix are passed evenly onto the offspring. These flames are of both Ewige Lewe (Pure White Mana), and Ewige Slaap (Pure Black Mana); Constantly keeping one another in check, the flow of both life and death that dwells within them would've soon been legacized as Biotika ("Literally Meaning; Bios, Life") which would soon become an ancient practice of balancing both pure mana and corrupt mana within the same vessel, in the real world this would be known as Yin-Yang or its origin Makrobiotica.

Black flames of the Death Phoenix that erases everything it touches would begin charring the pigment of the child's flesh, burning away its pale and colorless past of leprosy for lack of sunlight. As the healing effects of the Red flames strengthen and recondition not only the body but the entire vessel which would constantly go through an building phase until reaching a compromise. The rapid allelic frequencies occurring would not only bronze the skin, but also deepen the roots of child's hair, constructing strong inky locks that flourished like Jackalberry Trees. Due to the will of the Black Phoenix and being that the Red Phoenix's flame is made up of spotless white mana, the wielder of both flames are born with an inability to use Holy Magic (This includes Elemental Magics of Holy aswell) but instead profoundly increases their ability to use fire and significantly increase their ability to use the forbidden arts of darkness or occult.

Though only a pureblood can torch enough flame to use certain magics of the Nyambians, half bred clansmen still carry small specs of the phoenix within them, and though the flames wouldn't be as potent they may still reap rewards of their people though not upon the same scale. Undergoing the tormenting process of birth through death, half-bred Nyambian are a spitting image of the Nyambian people.

Appearance

Common traits Nyambian are known for are their dark brown eyes, thick bushy black hair, and bronzed skin. They're height on average is 5'7ft for males and 5'4ft for women though some have been known to reach heights as tall as 7'1ft. Children of Jannah are mostly see with tribal markings that resemble their cultural inheritance and likelihood with that of Sarradians and their teachings and compassion for the land. Their line markings represent the Life-Blood of the sarradians and deem to change in design upon the growth of the Nyambian.

Red painting depicts a violent color; it is the color of war. Strangely enough black, which is considered to be an inauspicious colors in most cultures, is the color of ‘living’, worn on the face during war preparations. White predictably is the color of peace which most of the race wears. The color green when worn under the eyes is believed to empower the wearer with a night vision. And finally yellow is the most inauspicious color, it is the color of death, as it is the color of "old bones."

Men usually only wear white but women usually wear white with an additional color.
