"Let me look into your future. Oh. Well... good luck with that."

Hey everyone! I'm Americhino, and today, I'm here to introduce you to the Paladins Wiki!

"What is Paladins?"

Paladins is a team-based shooter with deep strategy elements and in-match character progression through decks of collectible cards. These cards amplify and augment a character’s core set of abilities in many interesting ways. Paladins will be free-to-play and is currently in open beta testing for PC, Xbox and PS4.

A legendary card.

Yep. In my opinion, it's one of the most unique things about Paladins that sets it apart from Overwatch or TF2, for example.

Cards are special, champion specific item that players use to buff the champion's set of abilities. Cards are only useable by the champion who unlocks them; for example, a Viktor could not use a Skye card.

"Wow, that's cool. What types of characters can you play as?"

There is a large range of characters (or champions), with a new one added about every month. At the time of writing, there are 35 champions available to play. Lore for every champion was also recently released. Some of the champions include an illusionist who used her magic to escape a tyrant king, a clever dwarven engineer and a legendary archer.

"Alright then, I'm interested. But why are you promoting this wiki?"

Even though I just joined in summer 2017, we have been around since 2015. We have 1,137 pages, but not nearly enough editors to keep them all updated. We haven't had activity in a while, and are greatly overshadowed by the much more popular Gamepedia. However, you can help us grow! You can do lots to help, ranging from correcting a typo to creating a whole new page for a champion or ability, or even just creating your profile page.
Even the smallest edit will help the wiki a lot in the long term.

Thanks for reading, and happy editing! If you have any questions, feel free to leave them on my wall over there. :)
