The mystery of roanoke is the oldest unsolved mystery in the history of the United States. A long time ago, english explorers went for the first time to America, but when they stayed without food and supplies John White, the leader decided to go back to England by himself, and said he would return as fast as possible, but the problems in England hold him back for longer than expected, and it took him 3 years to return, when he finally arrived to Roanoke Island, the place where they settled in America, he found no one and nothing there, the only thing he saw was the word "Croatoan" carved on a tree, but he never found the colonists that came with him. Even now, people dont know what that word means or what happened to the settlers.
